Journaling from the plane
I wrote these in the plane, but didn't have internet, so I couldn't post them... So I'm posting them now. :p
11:00 AM JST - In the air now, and just woke up from a nice nap. Obviously I have no internet, so I'll be putting this up later. My watch and main iBook clock are now switched over to Japan time, as well as the blog clock when I post this.
I watched Cinderella Man on the plane. Very good movie. I was getting really sleepy near the end though, and it was hard to see a screen. Still a good movie. :p
Ate some airline food.... A picture will be added. :p Some beef stuff and some other stuff. I've had better airline food, but it wasn't bad.
The flight into San Fran went well. I tuned in to the radio station thing from the cockpit.... Listened to people communicating with towers. :p Pretty exciting stuff.... Talk about elevations! I also listened to most of a Fly With Me (podcast) episode on my iPod.
Now it's time for me to kick back and watch some Arrested Development, courtesy of Kento! :)
4:19 PM JST - Still in the plane.... About an hour and a half until arrival. Just had a pretty darn good meal #2 (picture will be posted).... I watched a couple episodes of Arrested Development, did a little Japanese, and did LOTS of sudoku (finished 15 so far). I've been switching off between country music on the airline and music on my iPod.... Both are good. :p
There's something very peaceful about what's outside the window.... I mean, we're obviously over the clouds, and we're flying over the ocean, so there's really not much to see.... But I like it. I love how the horizon makes that rainbow effect..... I'll have to see if my picture turned out... Yup. Slightly obstructed by the airplane wing, but that's life. :p
My dad and I are living a life of luxury right now... :p Like I said earlier, he's a 100k member. So they blocked a seat on the flight next to him. So we have seats A-C to ourselves. It's a lot better then being squished against a third person..... :p Especially because I would get stuck in the middle. I did on the flight to San Fran.....
Anyway, not much going on up here. Just lots of sudoku for me. Now, back to that... :p
